Reclaimed Floorboards UK
Reclaimed Floorboards are one of the UK’s leading independent reclaimed flooring suppliers. The brief provided by the client was to build a new e-commerce website that would allow customers to place orders.
The Project Brief
Lowaire Digital consulted with the client to create a unique and innovative design, based on the client’s branding and products. We also recommended an e-commerce integration to allow the client to process orders online and display products to gain interest and engagement from site visitors.
The client required a new website to reflect their brand values and identity whilst providing a new way of engaging with visitors through the shopping function. It was also important to the client that we created a site that was search-engine optimized and would rank well organically. The client was also interested in inspiring visitors with content that illustrated their process and the unique features of the wood flooring that they supply.

The Campaign Outcome
As a team, we built the website with innovation in mind, using a colour palette and logo that have a strong appeal alongside the wood flooring visuals and sliders. The site’s pages have been divided according to the visitor’s journey, allowing them to learn more about the company’s services, process or learn more about the products.
The brand information pages help to build trust with the audience whilst the process pages and gallery feature integrated videos and images to allow visitors to engage with the content. This has increased the likelihood of a sale or enquiry through reducing the bounce rate of the site as well as increasing the knowledge of the customer, resulting in more successful sales.
We also integrated a simple-to-use e-commerce system which allows the client to accept online orders and also allows them (via the backend of the website) to give these orders a status, e.g. pending, approved and on hold. We chose to use Woo-Commerce for this project because of the vast number of options it offers for customisation and the ease of use for the client.
The client’s aim was to increase sales and this has been achieved through the improved site, increased engagement and integrated e-commerce producing easier sales. We’ve also worked with this client on an ongoing basis to provide Google Ads campaign set-up and management in order to increase their website traffic further.
