Real Christmas Tree Farm

G.I Rogers & Son Christmas Trees are one of UK’s biggest suppliers of large Christmas trees, based in Berkhamsted. They required a modernised, intuitive website and a full marketing package to help them improve sales in time for Christmas.

The Project Brief

Firstly, the team at Lowaire Digital worked with the client to produce a stunning website that would inspire and entice those looking for Christmas trees and decorations in the area. We designed the website with a fun and seasonal feel with plenty of informational pages and Search Engine Optimised content.
The client needed a website that would promote and inform site users in order to drive sales through promoting contact and visits to the farm. We planned to create a website that would combine descriptions of their services with an engaging format, quality images and features including a map and an email form to opt in for a 10% off voucher. This all allowed the site to generate interest as well as giving the client a multitude of shareable content and quality landing pages to enhance the other areas of the marketing plan.

The Campaign Outcome

The result was a visually stunning and engaging website, complete with festive images and a snow filter throughout the website. The team created a ‘Christmas Countdown’ tracker on the homepage and integrated a Google Map of the farm across several pages.
The website features many pages detailing the products and services offered by the clients as well as content that shares their expertise in an informative way, including the Christmas Tree FAQs page.

The website also features images that engage visitors and a clear sales funnel with each product page featuring a contact form. We also custom built a ‘Find Us’ and ‘Contact Us’ pages that maximise engagements through integrated maps and attractive icons, as well as their clear position in the menu.

We managed a complete marketing package for the Real Christmas Tree Farm including Organic SEO, Google Ads and Social Media management. For this, we developed localised pages and website amendments to help it rank well which led to an overall increase of 155 places in Google rankings for their targeted keywords. We also ran a Google Ads campaign that aimed to drive traffic to the website using the most relevant keywords to increase sales.

To complement these efforts, we managed the client’s social media accounts, illustrating their services and the beauty of their trees. This campaign was highly successful at driving traffic to the website, with the most popular post receiving 1531 clicks to the website over a 60 day period.
