We’ve added a new symptom checker to Virtual Nurse

With over 2,500 unique customers and over 9,000 questioned asked since January 2017 on Alexa alone, it’s clear that users are embracing our healthcare voice application, Virtual Nurse.

So our development team have been working hard to improve our AI healthcare app and the features offered to our users. Therefore we are delighted to announce that we’ve successfully integrated our first symptom checker into our Virtual Nurse application, for Hay Fever.

The new feature on Virtual Nurse asks you a series of questions in relation to Hay Fever symptoms. Depending on your answers to these questions, the symptom checker will recommend the next steps you should take, which could be either visiting your doctor today, visiting your doctor in 1 – 3 days, going to A&E or calling for an ambulance for urgent medical attention.

By using NHS content, we plan to integrate further features and symptom checkers to our Virtual Nurse application over the next few weeks, so watch this space for more updates and features. In the meantime, feel free to check your Hay Fever symptoms today with our brand new symptom checker, available now on Virtual Nurse through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant-enabled devices.

Check your symptoms on Virtual Nurse:

OK Google/Alexa, ask Virtual Nurse to check my Hay Fever symptoms?

OK Google/Alexa, ask Virtual Nurse have I got Hay Fever?

Please also remember: Virtual Nurse should not be used to substitute medical professional help. If you think or believe that you are suffering serious symptoms of Hay Fever, you should call 999 (UK) or 911 (USA). If you are outside of these countries you should call your countries equivalent emergency number to seek medical advice promptly.
