Whether you’re B2B or B2C, big or small, in the EU or outside the EU you’ve probably heard about the EU’s new regulation coming into force on the 25th of May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It’s a new set of laws aimed at enhancing the protection of EU citizens’ personal data and increasing the obligations of organisations to deal with that data in transparent and secure ways.
The GDPR applies not only to EU-based businesses but also to any business that controls or processes data of EU citizens. At Lowaire, our entire organisation is hard at work ensuring that our own practices are GDPR-compliant. But equally important to us is helping you, our partners and customers, understand what the GDPR means for your businesses and how to build compliant processes of your own in order to ensure that you meet the upcoming legislation.
Between now and May 25th (and beyond), we are fully committed to enhancing the systems and processes at Lowaire in order to ensure we are GDPR compliant. As part of this change and in order to allow our team to get up to speed with the new legislation, our offices will be closed on the 25th of April 2018 for staff training.
how can we help?

- Integration of granular opt-in and opt-out processes for contact forms
- Updates to terms & condition statements and privacy policies
- Implementation of cookie notices (now required in multiple languages)
